Level-5 is a Japanese based video game developer. They were founded in 1998 and currently have 150 employees. While best known for creating video games for Sony's consoles, they have recently started production on Nintendo DS titles with the launch of Professor Layton and the Curious Village, which was published by Nintendo. Currently they have eleven video games either released or in production for the handheld - more than the PSP, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 combined.
